What’s your “why?” Can you pinpoint a reason you love this place we call home? Southeast Louisiana is a community like no other. Our region is responsible for so many cultural contributions from Cajun and Creole cuisine to Zydeco and jazz music, from king cake to Swamp People and so much more. Hospitality comes naturally, as does resiliency. Whether you were born and raised here or are learning to be a local, you belong here.
That’s the message of the Gospel, too. There’s a seat for you at the table. Everyone’s invited! That sentiment is at the heart of the mission of LifeSongs. We get to share the welcoming message of God’s goodness and love every day. Your giving makes that possible. So, what’s your “why” – your reason for supporting LifeSongs? Charleigh’s got one.
Here’s what Charleigh had to say about how God has used LifeSongs in her life:
“I was a kid in a harsh climate, wanting to know why I was there, in this trouble then I heard it: His voice. It was quiet like a gentle whisper, then I started listening. But, then something crazy happened – our home radio turned on by itself and went to LifeSongs and I heard a testimony just like mine. I was in need of love, so I listened. Now I am a young woman who dreams of a place called Heaven to call her home.”
God used LifeSongs to speak to Charleigh in her time of need. We are so grateful to be part of this unique and wonderful community, and to see God at work in it. He’s using YOU to make a difference in the lives of so many, including Charleigh, who find comfort and hope in being reminded that they are not alone. Thank you.
