Don’t you love it when God speaks to you at just the right time. It might be through a song, a devotion, scripture, or another believer. But it is exactly what you need to hear at that exact moment. I love that. And that is exactly what happened to me this morning.
I ain’t gonna lie, the start of 2018 has been rough – mostly due to sickness. And that throws everything off. I knew the schedule this week was gonna be tough, but everything was covered – just barely. And then BAM! – my son Finn was up sick all night. And I started to feel defeated.
But I read my daily devotion from Sarah Young’s “Jesus Today.” And God spoke the exact words that I needed at the exact right time. The devotion said:
“Just getting through each day is victory as long as you stay in communication with Me… Take one step at a time, clinging to My hand for help and guidance. I am always near you, and I know exactly how much you are struggling… Call upon My Name with confident trust, for My unfailing Love surrounds you.”
And it was like another BAM! moment in my day. But the good kind!
I pray that whatever you may be going through today, that God speaks exactly what you need to hear at exactly the right time. Be on the lookout for your BAM! moments – the good kind!
