Ever just want to turn UP the volume on God’s voice in your life? Ellie Holcomb describes her song “I Don’t Want To Miss It” as a prayer. She says, “I’m asking God to help me tune into the melody He sings over me and over every image-bearing soul on the face of the earth. I don’t want to miss out on the beauty of that for myself or for anyone else. I guess you could say this song is me asking God to turn up the volume of the song of love He sings over every one of us.”

Do you feel like you’ve been too caught up in the little things weighing you down? Colton Dixon spent some of his time in quarantine reflecting on that, and wrote about it in his song, “Made To Fly.” He says, “after reading the passage in Isaiah that talks about us soaring on wings like eagles, running but not growing weary, walking and not growing faint, I realized that in my daily life, I was so focused on just trying to walk that I forgot I was made to fly! This song is about living to your full potential. God has instilled that opportunity in us as believers to fly and to soar on wings like eagles. So don’t get so caught up in the little things that you forget it… because when you realize that, you start living differently.”
