These days, it feels like it’s too easy to lose our focus and be surrounded with negativity. That’s why Rhett Walker wrote his song, “Gospel Song” to help refocus each day and look to the Gospel and its good news. This song is a reminder that God is still in the business of redeeming stories and changing lives.

It’s been quite a season, this past year and a half. In the middle of all the uncertainty happening, did you feel overwhelmed, confused and not at peace? Jeremy Camp can relate, saying he felt that mental battle constantly, but it eventually inspired his song, “When You Speak.”

“I kept saying to myself, ‘I can’t wait to get through this’ and God spoke to my heart and said, ‘Jeremy, I want this to get through to you.’” Those words halted his confusion and made him still before God. “I realized that all those lies from the enemy seemed to be the loudest in my mind, but then realized that they had no real power when I lay them at the feet of Jesus. My Savior breaks through the noise with His peace and hope that we so desperately need. When He speaks mountains can move, fear is traded for peace. Chains can be broken, and lies are drowned out. This is the theme for this new season for me. Moving from the desert to new life. More joy, more color, more freshness, more God.”
