Psalm 92 tells us “How Good It Is” to sing praise to God most high… to sing of His love in the morning and His faithfulness in the evening. This inspired Chris Tomlin’s call to worship in his song, “How Good It Is.” He shares, “When we sing this song together, we’re singing God’s Word. When we gather together in worship, I always feel like we join in that eternal song of praise and experience a small glimpse of heaven on earth – the everlasting, never-ending song: ‘Holy, Holy, Holy.’ That’s what I love about this song – we are singing back to Him the very words He gave us in Scripture. When you sing this song, I hope you’re reminded of God’s Word.”

Hailing from California, Peter Burton is a singer-songwriter and worship leader whose songs seek to lead people to hope. He shares, “My prayer is that the church would be reminded of the transforming power of the Gospel, and for those outside the church, I hope that this song can offer them perspective that a new life can begin by the grace and mercy of Jesus.” His song “Where Would I Be” is a reminder of the amazing life we have when we say yes to Jesus. So often the enemy will try to bring up our past and discourage us, reminding us of our mistakes and where we should be because of them. But as Christ’s followers, when we ask ourselves, where would we be without Jesus? Our response is, thank God, I’ll never know.
