What’s your “God Story?” That’s Anne Wilson’s new song, and a great reminder that no matter what chapter of life you are in, God is good and He writes each of our stories with immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine.
Sometimes, life can feel like too much. Big Daddy Weave’s song, “I’ve Just Seen Too Much” was written by Mike Weaver during a period of deep grief after the death of his younger brother, Jay. It’s a vulnerable reflection of his struggle with pain and doubt, but ultimately becomes a testament of hope grounded in remembering God’s past goodness and faithfulness. Even in our darkest moments, we’ve witnessed too much of God’s kindness to ever doubt it completely.
Katy Nichole’s word for this year is “surrender,” which is also the theme in her song “Have Your Way.” She wrote this song as both a prayer and a reminder to let go of our attempts to control things, and that God’s plans are greater than our own could ever be.
