Feed the Multitudes is a giant free food festival held annually on the 4th of July at Victory Church in Metairie. It began in 1990 during a very difficult financial season for the church, but in response to their need, God called Victory to help those in even more need.
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Over the years, Feed the Multitudes has become an annual tradition in the city of New Orleans.
Each 4th of July, Victory Church provides hot meals, desserts, drinks, and snowballs along with free groceries, haircuts, manicures, and hundreds of pairs of shoes to those in need.
It’s a great day that includes fun for the children, gospel music, preaching, prayer, and water baptism – and this year, the finale for NOLA’s Got Talent!
