bodie’s song “Heaven Knows I Tried” is a powerful testimony about reaching the end of self-effort and finding true fulfillment in Jesus. It stems from his own journey of trying to live life his own way, experiencing emptiness, and ultimately surrendering to God’s will for peace, purpose, and restoration.
