Target Shopaholic | JoJo

I absolutely love Target; I might as well buy stock in the company! It’s like that saying, If you walk into Target to get milk, you buy everything else in the store but you forget the milk. There is something about all the home decor and gadgets that really catch my eye; I can’t help but stop and look. And then drop it in the buggy. There is no “quick trip” to Target. I like to stop and look at EVERYTHING! Clothing, shoes, and the makeup aisles are ALWAYS part of my Target shopping trip! Even if I don’t buy anything, I still go and look just because. What if there is something new?!

Some people pay attention to politics. Others, sports. I know when something is new at Target. There isn’t a Fantasy Target league yet, but when there is, I’ll be the first to sign-up! It reminds me of when I dig into God’s Word. When I explore and study, I always find something new. God speaks through His Word to me – just like He has spoken for centuries. Each chapter is like a new aisle at Target filled with stuff I just have to put in the buggy!

I was raised in church and have been around the Bible and stories from the Bible my whole life. So when I read a passage I’ve read many times, it’s just incredible how God brings something to light that I’ve never recognized before. The Bible is a living breathing Word. It comes alive!

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[e] and life.”- John 6:63 NIV

I get so excited to read and find out more and more of what God is trying to reveal to my heart! I just want to keep searching and looking with anticipation until I find a new revelation. But, the key is to keep searching- with all of your heart.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)
