My first concert was in the early 1990s. I went with a friend and her parents to a Carman concert at the UNO Lakefront Arena.
That was my first concert, but my most memorable concert was Chris Tomlin at the House of Blues. It was shortly after Hurricane Katrina and it was the first concert in our area after the storm. I was overcome with emotion as I looked around at our LifeSongs family. We were reunited and rebuilding and worshiping God together.
That moment was full of HOPE. In a time when hope was so scarce. But we found our hope in God. And now, we have the opportunity to provide HOPE for our friends in Houston, who are rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey.
