I have been unemployed for over 8 months now and I do not know what to do next. I've always been called an encourager but since I lost my job I could use some encouragement myself. I do not like feeling like this at all. I don't like myself when I feel like this and I can't seem to get out of this funk. Please pray that our Father reveals His new employment plans to me as soon as possible so that I can go back to being the faithful, thankful, happy person. I'm tired of crying and feeling desperate. My dad is currently in the ICU intubated after having a sudden cardiac arrest. He is very sick but he is only 59yrs old. He has acute respiratory distress syndrome, kidney failure, sepsis, and possibly cancer. Please pray for healing for my dad, and for peace and comfort for my family (my mom, and 4 sisters). My mom is an absolute wreck. Pray that we draw close to God and let Him carry us through this. Please pray that we keep our eyes on God and have Faith in His plan.

I’m asking for prayers regarding my ODAR hearing for my Social Security disability claim on last Tuesday. The judge needs additional info from my neurologist to approve my claim/case. I originally applied in August 2014 and have been waiting for my day in front of the judge. It\’d be wonderful to get over 1yr 9 months of backpay as we could REALLY use it, plus if our 5 year old daughter would get backpay too from my case. I pray that my attorney is able to obtain whatever info he needs to get a favorable decision. This is my prayer through Jesus Christ, my personal Lord and Savior, Amen. Thanks and may God bless!

I submitted a prayer request a couple days ago about needing a job and problems with finances. I wanted to update everyone that I have a job offer. However I still need prayer because of my immediate financial need. The job doesn't start for a couple of weeks and is full commission, which means I could go a full month before getting a paycheck but I need money in the next week to be able to pay my rent. I am very thankful for all of your prayers and for this potential job and I hope that you will continue to believe with me for a breakthrough.

Hi, my name is Courtney and I am a single mother struggling to make ends meet. My son and I escaped from my abusive husband and have been gone for two years. Everything has been so amazing since we left until I lost my job four months ago. Now I am very scared that I am about to lose everything that I have worked so hard to build for my son and I.
