My sweet fur-baby, KC, is a 9 year Collie mix who is just the biggest sweetheart and loves to be around people. I've only had her for 3 years, and as a rescue, she had a rough life for the first 5 years of her life. This past week, we learned she has bilateral adrenal tumors that are too extensive to be surgically removed. We were told she has weeks (not months) to live. Though they think she may be a candidate for palliative radiation therapy, we don't get to see the LSU Vet Oncology team until the beginning of January. In addition, she's had hind leg weakness and bladder incontinence from spinal compression. It may sound silly for some to pray for a dog, but she is such an amazing animal who God blessed me with over these past few years. She doesn't deserve all of this.
I ask that you please pray that her health be restored and that God guide me in making the best decisions for her. I'm praying that whatever time she may have left with us, that she be as comfortable as possible and fully loved and appreciated.
