It’s a great weekend for some World Champion jambalaya, don’t you think? In addition to the delicious food at the 46th annual festival, there will also be live entertainment, carnival rides, contests and more for the whole family!

City Putt Grand Opening – Friday, 5/24 at 10:30 AM

Where: 8 Victory Drive in New Orleans’ City Park

Just in time for Memorial Day Weekend, City Park proudly introduces its newest family friendly attraction – City Putt, a miniature golf complex with two 100% ADA accessible 18-hole courses. Opening day festivities include a ceremonial ribbon cutting prior to the gates opening. The first 150 patrons through City Putt’s gates on opening day will have the chance to win a special prize if they draw a golden golf ball out of the City Putt golf ball bucket. Complimentary popcorn and Arnold Palmers will also be available, while supplies last, for patrons waiting in line. The ribbon cutting will take place at 10:30am and then the mini golfing begins!

The Greek Festival turns 40 this year, and they are celebrating the big “4-Opa” with Greek food and entertainment, plus a few special surprises. Bring your appetite for Baklava!

Memorial Day at the Museum – Monday, 5/27 from 10:00 AM – 3:15 PM

Where: National WWII Museum in New Orleans

Memorial Day honors those who have given all for their country and for freedom. The museum hosts events that honor these brave men and women, highlighting the artifacts, images and stories that honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in one of the world’s darkest hours.
