Happy Thanksgiving!

As a LifeSongs family, we are so thankful for the incredible musical artists who use their gifts to sing to the Lord, our amazing group of staff here at the station, and YOU our incredible listeners and supporters!

This Thanksgiving, I am especially thankful to spend extra time with family. My husband Doug, son Finn, my parents, sisters, and my husband’s family. We are so blessed to have family that is loving, kind, and loves the Lord. And we are excited to be with them this year!

I love Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for my family & friends (I’m truly grateful that God has surrounded me with such a wonderful circle of loved ones – and that includes my LifeSongs family!), the Saints (Who Dat!), and Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Joe Joes (seriously).

I am thankful for my salvation – that God allows me to come into a relationship with him through Jesus Christ. I am thankful for a loving family that cares so much about me. I am thankful for my wife of 3+ years, and that she puts up with me even when I drive her crazy. I am thankful for my church family and how much I see them growing in their walk with God.

I am thankful that every day is a new day with no mistakes in it (yet). I am thankful for living closer to my parents than I have in years. I am thankful for all the wonderful people God has brought into our lives since our crazy move to New Orleans, and for the wonderful people we left behind. I am thankful for my great-aunt Patti’s miracle brownies and how often I bake them. I am thankful that it is almost Thanksgiving which means I can listen to Christmas music without feeling guilty. I am thankful for my wonderful (and new!) husband Luke and how he seeks the Lord with all his heart.

I am very thankful for the precious blood of Jesus that saves us from our sins and separation from God, I am thankful for my wonderful husband, Bizzie and my gifted children & grandchildren & sweet Mom & Dad,  my great church family,  and my super coworkers!
