09/08/10 - I want to give thanks and praise to Jesus, because he has given me the strength to finish my school and help me find a job, since I was unemployed for 6 months at the time, He has given me a great opportunity to grow in a great company and become someone in this world. My prayer request is for myself, I ask for my fellow Christian brothers and sisters that I may receive Jesus' healing touch and that He may heal me of my severe tinnitus I have recently acquired in the past months. I pray that one day these phantom sounds may one day disappear and give my mind peace! So I may glorify him as long as I live! Amen!

09/08/10 - Please pray for my uncle because he has bladder cancer. And please pray for my pastor Chip Radke and his family because his dad passed away. Pray that God will give them peace in their time of sorrow. And pray for all of the kids in the schools in Jefferson Parish and Orleans Parish to have a good school year. Thank You!

09/01/10 - Please keep my husband & I in your prayers. We have been trying to conceive God's gift for a little bundle of joy. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with PCOs & was on fertility drugs for 7 months with no success. My husband was recently tested & his analysis came back negative. Now he has to under go alot of other tests. Please pray that there is something the doctors can do to fix this medical condition. The pain of this infertility is so deep. Month after month when that dream does not come true, it is so painful. At this time I have decided to give this heartache to God & let him lead us in the right direction. 08/27/10 - I would like to ask for prayers that we continue to endure. My Momma just passed away on 8-14-10. We were very close (I am an only child, as were both my parents). My Dad and I have been living one day at a time for the past 9 months since she had the stroke. It's been a roller coaster ride as we didn't know what to think - one day it seemed she'd be coming home with us and the next it seemed she was headed home to heaven. Her funeral was beautiful if you can say that about a funeral and we know that she is home with our Lord but it's still hard. Also, my dh still does not have a job - he has been trying to get his commercial photography business going since Katrina but the last 2 years he hasn't had any work. I have a job through a temp agency but it's not what I would have picked. I pray each day that God would "renew a right spirit" in me and that I would be filled with thankfulness that so far we have been able to pay our bills. On paper it never looks like we'll make it but somehow we do. We have a good life - it's just these things that have been happening exhaust us - dh escapes into t.v., ds has his music and dd is off at college. It's a very lonely time for me. Please pray for healing for the sadness and loneliness of losing Momma, for the perfect job to fall into dh's lap, for my Daddy as he finds his way (he believes in Jesus but not in "organized religion") and for the affect that this is having on our kids as they grow into young adults. The prayer of our church family and friends has held us together this far and listening to Lifesongs makes it better too. I remember when we first came back from Katrina and there was no Lifesongs it just didn't feel right. I was so happy once you came back on air. May God continue to richly bless your ministry. 08/26/10 - Please pray for healing for my father (Allan). He had surgery this morning to remove a lesion and after the doctor ran tests, it was confirmed that it is cancer. He has to go to an oncologist next week to have a PET scan to see if the cancer has spread anywhere else in his body.
Please pray that the cancer has not spread and that God will calm our fears. Thank you.

08/19/10 - I did indeed lose my job Monday. However, I went on an interview today and have a pretty good chance to get that job; it would be perfect for me but if it's not perfect by Jesus, it's not perfect for anyone! I know the interview came quickly because of your prayers and I can't thank you enough but please pray for us again: that I get the job (I'll know by next Friday...) IF it is within God's plans for us and if, not that He lead me to a better opportunity quickly. Thanks in advance for your prayers; may Our Father truly bless you all abundantly.

08/12/10 - I am a single parent of one son. I have struggled financially for years and live with my parents. I have been a working, sleep deprived mom for 14 years. I have never had enough money to pay my bills. I need prayers for my financial situation. I also ask that the Lord show me how to help other single parents that are suffering so much, as I know I am not alone. I think single parnets need support mentally, spiritually and financially, not to mention we are in constant need of more time. Thanks for your prayers.

08/09/10 - My husband and I have been married 3 years and we have a 16 month old girl. I have been blaming him all these years and I now know the blame is on me (technically speaking). I'm not blaming myself for his problems but I knew before we were married that he drank and had done drugs but he was into the church and that made me believe things would change. He has been to rehab and did well for awhile but then he had an affair while I was deployed overseas and that has made it even harder on top of him still drinking and staying out all night. I've asked GOD what I should do and I started to think that maybe He has been telling me all this time to let go and move on. That's a scary thought. A divorce and being a single mother. I need to be 100% sure before I go through with this. I just want what's best for my daughter and myself.

Well I would like to give my heavenly Father all the praise and glory for everything in my life:) I am asking for prayers to go out for my nephew Al. He was hit in the head at work and while at the emergency room the doctors felt it nessecary to run a CAT scan due to the headaches accompanied by the hit to his head. To make a scary story short, the CAT scan showed some type of cyst on his brain! With so many questions unanswered our faith steps to the occasion. With the help, love and support of our Christian family I ask that you pray, pray, pray! In Jesus we can overcome anything and everything! AMEN!

08/02/10 - I would like to pray for my daughter and her best friend. As the new school year is quickly approahing, they are becoming more and more anxious and nervous because of "mean girls" that they hung out with last year. I am very thankful that the two of them have had a wonderful summer and have seen that they are strong, beautiful girls that can stand up to anyone. I would just like to pray that my daughter and her friend can find peace and happiness. I would like to pray for all of the "mean girls" that they can stop with the demeaning comments and actions. 07/31/10 - I am praying that the Lord would somehow provide another suv for me. I am desperate for transportation & a job. Mine was in shop but it's too costly to repair, the engine needs replacing. I just want to move on with my life after all I've been through this last year. 07/31/10 - Right now, my heart is breaking, my stomach is in a huge knot and I can't stop crying, I love my husband SOOOOOOO much it hurts... My job is in serious jeopardy; I'm told I'll know by Tuesday. We're just now getting on our feet financially and I haven't told my husband. My husband doesn't know because it would break his heart and my heart is breaking for him. He of all people does not deserve this; he's an incredible man and my best friend. I fear his reaction will seriously strain his health and his faith in Our Father. Please pray for a quick and successful conclusion to my employment so I don't have to break my husband's heart. 07/26/10 - My son lost his job April 1, 2010. He has been unable to find work to support his wife and 2 small children. I pray he and his wife find the goodness of God through these tough times. I pray he finds a job but most of all I pray he finds the strength and the promises of God. 07/13/10 - Please be in prayer for all employees of Northrop Gruman Shipyards in Avondale, LA. There has been some news concerning the selling of the business and perhaps closing the shipyards. My husband has been employed there for about 39 yrs. as well as thousands of others. Please pray for wisdom for the employers and employees that work there. Please pray for the favor of God to be upon each one and that will be each treated fairly concerning compensation especially to those who have worked many years at this shipyard.

My husband has been going through health issues and now he has this coming against him, pray that he will make the right decision concerning his employment/retirement options and that he will not walk in fear but will trust in the Lord with all his heart, mind, soul and spirit!!

07/10/10 - Pastor Daniel Dickson of New Life Fellowship in Westwego was tragically killed in a auto accident 7/9/10 along with 3 other people (the father, mother and brother of Pastor Danny's wife, Tammy Dickerson). There are no words that would express this loss. PLEASE lift up his family and church through this horrific time.

07/10/10 - Please pray for my son Larry and his family. Larry works 2 jobs to supply his family with a roof over their heads and food on the table. His wife does not work to help. Please pray that she will find guidiance to get out and find a job. Please pray that they can keep their family together, as my son is getting tired of doing it all by himself.

07/08/10 - Please pray for the Batiste family. My grandmother had a stroke 3 weeks ago. It's hard to take in the whole situation. My grandmother was able to move around independently and talk just fine, since the stroke, she can't talk, walk and can only move one side of her body with limitations. The family had no evident warning signs that the stroke was going to hit . My grand mother is now in a nursing home. We are praying that she can come home soon with all or some functions back.

Please pray for my Uncle, he has MS and is wheelchair bound. My grandmother who just had the stroke was taking care of him. I did not know how much medical attention he reqiured until my grandmother became ill. He needs assistance with getting out of bed, making meals, supervision in the home over night , bathing etc. The family house needs alot of work on it to make the house more friendly for him and the family just don't have the financial means to get the house up to standard to house my grandmother and uncle properly. Pray for a miracle that they both can stay at home without going into a facility.

07/08/10 - Please be in prayer for me. I have been going through various health issues. I was admitted to the hospital last Thursday and discharged on Saturday. The Dr's say that the right side of my heart is not pumping properly and that it is b/c of my lungs which are scarred (which they diagnose me with over 12 yrs ago) They say my heart is having to work hard so that is why I was having problems. I would get very weak when I would walk even short distances and would begin to black out. I would like to share with you how God alerts us and uses situations to get us the help we need!!! I was suffering with really bad headaches plus having the weak spells so I thought it was a tooth problem so I was arguing with myself for about 3 weeks and finally Tuesday night I decided to email a good friend of mine and told her what was going on, she immediately wrote me back and told me to call somebody (Dentist or Dr) to find out what was going on!! Well God w orked it all out and used the Dentist to tell me I need to contact my Dr.!! Plus about a month ago I was driving on the expressway and started to choke and blackout and I woke up and the Lord was moving me over in my vehicle and set me between two vehicles - He saved my life once again!!! If you ever thought angels didn't exist I can tell you they do!!! Alleluia!!! Please pray for me and my husband as we go through various health issues together!! The enemy is doing everything he can to separate us when we really need each other the most!! Our marriage has not been good for some time but the Lord is definitely doing something!!!! My husband and I need the Favor of the Lord with the Dr's that we will receive excellent care and that the medicines and the right diagnosis so that we can be totally resotored mind, body, soul and spirit!!!!!!! Also my daughter is having a hard time dealing with this and has in the past runned away from God I pray that this will draw her closer t o Him and also that she will take responsibility for her children's spiritural health which she has left for me to do in the past; but the Lord has told me to take my hands off; this is going to be very hard for me but I will walk in obedience to Him!!!

John was out on the Mississippi beach this weekend and cut his foot; now he is in the hosital fighting for his life!!! John has a bacterial infection in his blood.
